Our NDT services
Our NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspection services utilise advanced techniques to evaluate the properties of materials, components, or systems without causing damage, including:
Visual testing (VT)
Basic yet powerful, method in which the inspection of equipment and structures is carried out visually to detect surface defects.
Penetrant testing (PT)
A highly sensitive method used to detect surface defects in non-porous materials, utilising liquid penetrant to reveal flaws.
Magnetic particle testing (MT)
This method is used for crack detection in ferromagnetic materials. The method uses a magnetic field and very fine iron particles wichs are applied either dry or suspended in a liquid to the surface of the material to shown the defects.
Radiographic testing (RT)
Utilising X-rays, RT provides a detailed view of internal structures to identify defects or irregularities. In addition to traditional RT equipment, we also use Digi-RT.
Ultrasonic testing (UT)
Through the use of high-frequency sound waves, UT assesses the thickness or detects internal flaws in materials.
Phased array ultrasonic testing (PA UT MA)
An advanced form of UT that allows for more detailed imaging, enabling precise flaw detection and characterisation.
